Terms & Conditions for Involving VOICE in Research
We require you to register as a member of Voice North on the website and to write a short biography. This will enable you to interact with members who are going to be involved in your study and to answer any questions that they may have.
In using the services of Voice North you agree to provide feedback to the volunteers taking part in your study. This should involve short initial feedback within one month of the end of the Voice North involvement and, where the project or study continues after Voice North’s involvement feedback on the outcomes from the study once it is complete. Please note volunteers will access feedback via the Voice North website; therefore please ensure information is appropriate for public view and jargon and acronyms are clearly explained.
After you have used the services of Voice North you must complete a case study about how you involved the volunteers and we will send you a template to complete.
Where you have access to contact and personal details of members of Voice North these must only be used in the context of the current study. Subsequent recruitment for further projects must be coordinated through the Voice North office.
Voice North volunteers are a representative group from across the region and are often members of other organisations. Unless there is a formal agreement with these other bodies, they should not be represented as ‘partner organisations’ in any publicity about the study.
Any payment of vouchers and travel costs to Voice North members should be made in a timely fashion.
The information provided in this form will be used to produce an opportunity to generate expressions of interest from Voice North members, please note that the opportunity due to be circulated may need to be submitted for ethical approval depending on the type of study.
If you have any questions about these terms and conditions, please contact the Voice North office on 0191 208 1288 or email: [email protected]
