Words and Worlds
Elijah Young and Natasha Haws are two artists working with Newcastle City Council on a new creative residency. They are looking to connect with people to share their stories and talk about their lockdown experiences in a city wide creative writing project.
By the end of the project, the goal is to have an anthology of collated lockdown stories, an audio version of this anthology and an installation of the work for people to visit in local libraries and arts organisations. This period of isolation has been so difficult for many and they want to provide the opportunity for reflection and for people’s voices to be heard. They believe everyone has a story to tell and can’t wait to hear yours.
Elijah and Natasha would like to speak to VOICE members aged 50 and over based in the Newcastle upon Tyne area.
No other experience or skills are required.

You can take part via online calls, over the phone or through personal diary entries.
When and where?
