Survey to seek feedback and views on new ideas for research in chronic pain
Chronic pain (pain lasting 3 months or longer) can have profound negative effects on the lives of individuals. Our research team is currently conducting research to better understand how to relieve pain and improve outcomes. We have new ideas for potential research in chronic pain and would like to seek your views, feedback and suggestions on these new research ideas.
We are looking to recruit patients, carers and members of the public who:
- Are 18 years or older
- Currently have or previously had chronic pain (pain lasting 3 months or longer)
- Know someone who currently has or previously had chronic pain
We would like to recruit a diverse sample in terms of geographic location, ethnicity, gender and age.
What will I be asked to do?
Volunteers will be asked to complete an online survey to seek feedback on new research ideas. The survey will take 15-20 minutes to complete.
The link to the online survey will be sent directly to your email address. You will then need to click on the link to complete the survey.
At the end of the survey, you will have the option to express your interest in taking part in a one-to-one discussion with the researcher to discuss your experiences and research ideas in more detail. The one-to-one discussion is optional and will last approximately 45-60 minutes.
When and where?
Online only - we will share the link to the online survey with you via email and you will have until 20th June 2022 to complete it.
