Aim

At University, pharmacy students are trainined to help patients and the public with their health and medicines use. This starts with roleplay senarios which allow safe practice of communication skills.

Researchers are looking to better develop a diverse selection of training senarios which better represent the experiences and challenges of diverse patient popualtions. This work is exploring real people's experiences of accessing medicines related care with the aim of developing more authentic training senarios for students.

VOICE members who sign up will share their personal experinces and perspectives on how we can better represent patient diversity in training materials and will contribute to the design of several draft roleplay senarios.
