An autonomous car (also known as a driverless car, auto, self-driving car, robotic car) is a vehicle that is capable of sensing its environment and navigating without human input. Many such vehicles are being developed, but as of May 2017 automated cars permitted on public roads are highly automated, not yet fully autonomous. They all require a human driver at the wheel who is ready at a moment's notice to take control of the vehicle.
Senior drivers may have safety problems due to physical and psychological reasons. In recent years, some vehicle manufacturers are developing vehicles with automated assistant systems or automated vehicles. However, do highly automated vehicles meet older drivers' needs and what are older drivers' attitudes towards them?
Aim
The aim of this research is to investigate these concerns and conclude some better advice for the vehicle industry and the government to improve and develop this new vehicle.

Anyone can take part in this questionnaire.

You will be required to answer several questions about driving and your opinions on automated vehicles. This should take approximately 15 minutes.
