Aim
The aim of the pilot study is to explore the challenges long-COVID patients face when communicating their experiences. So far, we have conducted pilot interviews with long-COVID patients, and now we are looking for participants to take part in the next collaborative stage of the study. The results will be used to shape the study ahead of our application for funding. Should the project be funded, we will continue to involve patients in our research.
Volunteer Criteria
Participants must: be aged 18 or over, have a confirmed or suspected diagnosis of long-COVID, and be native speakers of English.
What will I be asked to do?
Participants will take part in an online focus group about their experience of long-COVID, lasting approximately 1 ½ to 2 hours. They will be asked to discuss how they communicated their experience of long-COVID with others.
When and where?
The focus groups will take place across February - April using the video conferencing software Zoom.
Will I get anything for taking part?
Participants will receive a £20 Amazon voucher for taking part in the research.
