FIND-AF: Help us improve care for an abnormal heart rhythm
We want to work with you to progress this research project forward to benefit patients in the NHS. We want this to be a long-standing working relationship so that we always ensure this technology is developed and implemented in a way that will most benefit patients. You would have the opportunity to co-design studies for assessing this tool in a clinical setting, co-write and review consent forms and participant information sheets, co-write grant applications and give ongoing advice about our future directions.
What will I be asked to do?
We would love to work with members in at least one of the following areas:
- Review and comment on study designs
- Review or be involved in drafting consent forms and participant information sheets
- Reviewing or be involved in drafting grant applications
- Becoming part of our advisory board who give us ongoing feedback on the project and advise on appropriate future directions
We would be happy to tailor the member’s involvement to what works best for them and how they feel they would most value contributing.
When and where?
We would like to work with the member for the remainder of the duration of this project – which would likely extend over the next 2 years. The time commitment can be tailored to what the member can spare us and we are flexible. We are grateful for the valued input.
Originally we will proceed online only. As we follow COVID-19 levels we will consider holding more in-person events in Leeds.
