Interested in the up and coming technology of Virtual Reality (VR)? Visit our fair at Jesmond Library to try out a range of activities from seeing how virtual worlds are created, to enjoying a 360 degree experience yourself. Have a ride of a virtual roller coaster or take a virtual trip under the sea. With several stands displaying a variety of virtual themes and headsets, everyone is welcome to come along to this exciting and interactive learning experience!

This fair is being organised by a team of students and staff as part of the Go Volunteer programme run by the Students' Union at Newcastle University. The aim of the fair is to introduce people to the world of Virtual Reality in an informal setting.

The team are interested to know what people think about Virtual Reality. Workshops are also being planned in local care homes, primary schools and community groups.

The event is free to attend, drop in to Jesmond Library on Wednesday 21st February between 5:30-6:30pm. There will be a range of stands where you can view and try out a variety of Virtual Reality headsets and experiences.
