Aim

The aim of this workshop is to provide pharmacy students with valuable insight into the reality of living with psoriasis or eczema and help them to better understand patient experiences and needs.

Volunteer Criteria

The students would like to meet with people who have or care for someone with psoriasis or eczma.

What will I be asked to do?

You will be asked to meet with pharmacy students in small groups for 15 to 20 minutes per group.  The students will ask questions about your experiences, under the supervision of an academic facilitator. After 15 minutes the groups will rotate so you will meet with four or five groups of students during the session. The session will last approximately one hour and fifteen minutes all together.

When & where?

The sessions will take place on Monday 12th February at 14:00-15:30 and 15:30-17:00. When registering your interest in taking part, please specify which time you would prefer.

They will be held at the Clinical Skills Lab, Newcastle University Medical School.

Will I get anything for taking part?

Travel expenses will be reimbursed and light refreshments will be provided.
