Visitors, patients and staff can use this online resource to find out about access to all of the Trust's buildings at the hospitals, health centres and walk-in centres. You can find out where a department is located in relation to the main entrance, where car parking spaces are located, whether there are lifts to access other floors, whether a hearing loop is fitted at reception, in-depth information about accessible toilets and much more.

Most important of all, everywhere has been visited and assessed by trained surveyors, so you can get all the facts, knowing someone has actually been there to collect the details.

If you would like to attend please contact the organisers:

Unfortunately, I'm unable to attend, but if I was there, I'd pose the question about keeping the information up to date. I've encountered issues with this kind of thing with DisabledGo and other accessibility information websites in the past. It's very difficult to ensure accuracy when things can change and those managing the website aren't informed.

It's not the end of the World if the inaccuracy relates to a hotel or restaurant, but it is much more critical when a hospital is concerned. I hope this has been addressed.
