An opportunity to help to shape the experience and design of the Arthritis Research UK website.
Investigating Arthritis is a two year research and design collaboration between Arthritis Research UK and the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design at the Royal College of Art. The project looks at the information ARUK are supplying to people with Arthritis on their online media channels. This particular part of the project looks at their e-shop offering.
The aim of the workshop is to help the team to shape the experience and design of the Arthritis Research UK website, for other people with Arthritis.
The researcher is interested in speaking with people with a lived experience of arthritis. This could be your own experience or experience gained by caring for someone with arthritis.
Participants will be asked to take part in two of the three activities: A card sorting exercise, using their own experiences to decide which heading (‘theme’) they feel items should be placed under and a discussion about their shopping experiences and their arthritis.
If they are happy to take part, individuals will be asked to use some aids and be filmed. These films will not include the participant's face.
These activities will take 45 minutes.
The workshops will run all day on Friday 12th May. Participants are required to attend one 45 minute workshop. When applying to take part, please specify the time(s) you are available.
The workshop will take place at the Campus for Ageing and Vitality.
Participants will received a £10 voucher and will be reimbursed for travel expenses.
