The Clinical Science Festival is an opportunity to explore certain aspects of Clinical Science in greater detail, with interactivity and audience participation being much more of a focus. Students are working on presentations, debates, quizzes and other activities related to their particular specialisms, and a broad range of topics will be covered.

The aims of the events are:

  • To help the public understand the role of the clinical scientists within the NHS
  • To help students develop the way they explain aspects of their job to the public
  • To raise awareness and understanding of the relevance of current and developing science on healthcare and patient outcomes
  • To help students to develop their understanding of patient and public perspectives of healthcare.

The event is free but as there are limited places, registration is essential. To register your place, please click the Register button at the top of the page.

The event is Wednesday 27th February 2019, 13:30-17:00 with a break for refreshments at approximately 15:00.
