Public member opportunities at the NIHR Central Commissioning Facility

The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Central Commissioning Facility (CCF) is currently looking for patients and members of the public to join a number of national and regional advisory panels across England.

This is an opportunity to contribute to health research by:

  • advising researchers
  • using your patient experience
  • influencing decisions
  • making research relevant

The NIHR CCF is currently looking for members of the public to join the following panels:

Invention for Innovation (i4i) programme
One member on Product Development Award panel

Programme Grants for Applied Research (PGfAR) programme
One member on national sub-panel

Research for Patient Benefit (RfPB) programme 
Seven members across six Regional Advisory Panels: West Midlands (x1), South East & Central (x1), North West (x1), Yorkshire and the North East (x2) and East of England (x1), East Midlands (x1)

Department of Health Policy Research Programme (PRP)
Two members for the PRP Commissioning Panel

Deadline for applications: 12pm on Monday, 27 March 2017.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.
