Creating Connections PPIE Training: Public Involvement and Participation in Research

This is a teaser video for the first in a series of online training sessions about patient and public involvement and engagement (PPIE) in health and social care research. The sessions are for anybody who is interested in learning more about PPIE, including members of the public and professionals. The series is hosted by Creating Connections, a regional network in the North East and North Cumbria that brings together people who have a role in PPIE in health and social care.
This session serves as an introduction to Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement for new researchers, members of the public, and anybody interested in health and social care research.
It will be run by Felicity Shenton, Public Involvement and Community Engagement Manager for the Applied Research Collaboration North East and North Cumbria, and Allison Farnworth, Patient and Public Involvement Advisor with the Research Design Service North East and North Cumbria.
It will take place on Wednesday 15th September 2021, 12:00-13:00.
