Creating Connections PPIE Training: Introduction to Research Champions
- Innovation for Ageing, Health & Social Care Research
This is a teaser video for the third in a series of online training sessions about patient and public involvement and engagement (PPIE) in health and social care research. The sessions are for anybody who is interested in learning more about PPIE, including members of the public and professionals. The series is hosted by Creating Connections, a regional network in the North East and North Cumbria that brings together people who have a role in PPIE in health and social care.
This session is all about Research Champions and the Participant Experience. A Research Champion is a volunteer who wants to promote research in healthcare to other patients, members of the public, carers and to healthcare professionals.
This session will be run by Justine Smith, Senior Strategic Manager for the NIHR Clinical Research Network North East and North Cumbria.
It will take place on Wednesday 10th November 2021, 12:00-13:00.
