This is a teaser video for the second in a series of online training sessions about patient and public involvement and engagement (PPIE) in health and social care research. The sessions are for anybody who is interested in learning more about PPIE, including members of the public and professionals. The series is hosted by Creating Connections, a regional network in the North East and North Cumbria that brings together people who have a role in PPIE in health and social care.

This session is all about how to identify, approach and engage patients and the public in health and social care research.

The facilitators are Jenny Hasenfuss, PPIE Manager at the NIHR Blood and Transplant Research Unit in Organ Donation and Transplantation, and Hannah Gray, Network Manager of the [email protected] project at the University of York.

It will take place on Wednesday 20th October 2021, 12:00-13:00.
