Creating Connections PPIE Training: Co production
- Innovation for Ageing, Health & Social Care Research
This is a teaser video for the fifth in a series of online training sessions about patient and public involvement and engagement (PPIE) in health and social care research. The sessions are for anybody who is interested in learning more about PPIE, including members of the public and professionals. The series is hosted by Creating Connections, a regional network in the North East and North Cumbria that brings together people who have a role in PPIE in health and social care.
Public involvement in research is defined as research being carried out 'with' or 'by' members of the public rather than 'to', 'about' or 'for' them.
The session is run by Jo Lally, PPI Lead for the NIHR Research Design Service North East and North Cumbria, and Gary Hickey, PPI Strategic Lead for the NIHR Research Design Service South East.
It will take place on Wednesday 19th January 2022, 12:00-13:00.
